Key Notes Summary-

In today's sermon, Pastor A.J. explores the concept of the “ascended life” and what it means for believers to live as “aliens” or “sojourners” in the world. He emphasizes that our primary identity is rooted in Christ rather than our physical surroundings or national citizenship.

Key takeaways from the message include:

Divine ldentity: We are citizens of heaven passing through a temporary existence. We should prioritize our relationship with the kingdom of God over earthly successes or status

The Role of Faith: Living as a "sojourner" requires faith rather than sight. We must trust God’s purpose through trials, knowing that the hope of eternity transcends momentary struggles.

The Importance of Community: The church is vital for growth; We cannot navigate this life in isolation. We need the fellowship of other believers to share struggles, victories, and counsel, allowing US to “rub off”, file as with sandpaper,  each other’s rough edges. Living as Ambassadors: We are called to be agents of change.

By walking counter-culturally our character and behavior serves as a witness, prompting others to ask why we live the way we do surrender and offering: The Pastor urges the congregation to place their everyday lives-Eating, working, and living-before God as an offering, rather than conforming to our culture’s life patterns.

May 25,2026

In this message, Pastor Carl continues the "Rededicate 250" series, challenging the congregation to seek God's guidance for America's next 250 years and it's generations, just as he challenged them to seek it for their individual lives at the start of 2026.

Key themes :

  • Trusting God's Wisdom: The pastor emphasizes that relying on God’s wisdom rather than our own is crucial, citing Isaiah 55:8-9 .  Pastor notes that as "sons and daughters," we never outgrow the need for the Father's input.

  • Covenant Roots: A significant portion of today's sermon  focuses on America's spiritual foundations. Pastor Carl highlights the nation's "covenant roots," such as the Puritan vision of a "city on a hill" and the formation of a just society based on a pledge to God .

  • A Tender Heart: Centered on Ezekiel 36:26, the pastor leads the congregation in praying for God to remove "hearts of stone"—characterized by pride and stubbornness—and replace them with "hearts of flesh" that are tender, responsive, and obedient to God .

  • Generational Inclusion: Pastor stresses the importance of including all generations in God's plan for America, from the "silent generation" to "generation alpha," and encourages believers to pass on their faith so that future generations will also know and encounter God.

Assignment for the week:

  • The congregation is encouraged to read 2 Chronicles 34-35, which recounts the story of King Josiah and his efforts to lead Israel back to a renewed covenant with God.

Rededicate 250

Today’s sermon serves as a special service focused on a national initiative called Rededicate 250, marking 250  years since the Continental Congress declared a day of fasting and prayer in 1776. This message emphasizes the role of the Ecclesia (the church) in governing the nation through prayer, humility, and repentance.

Key takeaways

• The Role of the Church  Pastor tells us that the primary purpose of the Ecclesia is to pray and be the example of  how our nation should be- One nation under God, standing against

The gates of hell that threaten American values of faith, family, and freedom.

• Humility and Repentance -2 Chronicles 7:14 There are two “keys” as essential for unlocking heaven’s door and realigning the nation with God’s will.

Re-dedication and Decrees-

Today, as a  Congregation, we participated in Corporate prayer and faith decrees, declaring that America will reconnect to its covenant Christian roots, be saved, and continue to pray for our country! For God to heal our land by hearing our requests to Him.

Throughout today’s service, the Congregation joins in collective declarations and moments of Prayer to ask for God’s wisdom, continuing guidance, and renewal for the Country as we celebrate 250 years!
