This service is a special Independence Day celebration titled "Rededicate 250," focusing on the historical and spiritual foundations of the United States on our 250th anniversary.

​

• Spiritual Freedoms: Our  service begins by emphasizing the spiritual freedom believers have in Christ, highlighting that true freedom includes living without the burdens of guilt and shame 

• Gratitude for American Liberty: The Pastor encourages us as a congregation to appreciate the freedoms available in America, noting that these are often taken for granted. We then participated in singing patriotic music, s "My Country, 'Tis of Thee," and then the Pledge of Allegiance

• Covenant Roots of America: A central focus of this sermon is the historical "covenant roots" of the nation. Focusing that the early Puritans and Pilgrims established America as a "city on a hill" (Matthew 5:14) with a divine mission to be a holy community

• The Battle for Direction: The Pastor warns against secular influences and "socialism" that he believes are attempting to push the nation off its divine course. Pastor Carl speaks about the "spirit of control" and urges Christians to be active, specifically the importance of voting and not remaining passive!
