I Peter 5:6-7, “Humble yourselves, therefore under the Mighty hand of God so that at the proper time He may exalt you casting all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. We become anxious when we treasure another’s approval more than God’s approval or when we believe we know how to handle a situation better than He does. This is pride, so let’s throw ourselves on the mercy of an infinitely bigger God. We can’t find Him faithful to care for our worries and concerns if we don’t take ourselves off the throne that rightfully belongs to Him.
