Matthew 5:5, “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.”

The more seriously we take our sin and brokenness, the more amazing grace becomes. The Savior draws the picture of kingdom blessing through a series of eight declarations known as the Beatitudes. They begin with our spiritual bankruptcy and end with our rejoicing in persecution. Read them this week and meditate on them and marinate in them!
